Shree Kankeshwori Basic School

Shree Kankeshwori Basic School is situated at  Kankeshwori  area near Kankeshwori temple, Kathmandu, Nepal. There are 300+ students in the school and the school runs up to grade 8, however the schools also runs program like ECD(Early Child development Development program)  despite being a Government school.
 In 2011 Kehi Garoun listed Kankeshwori as its network school through "Stationery Campaign 2011" and since then Kehi Garoun has been supporting Kankeshwori in many ways such as providing different educational materials and stationery to  students who cannot afford to continue their schools.
Kankeshwori is actively participating in Kehi Garoun's program"Resuming Schools " by sending its students to Kanya mandir where various activities are organized to engage students.
