Reflections Circle 2022

Picture
Look at yourself, go into yourself, inquire into what there is, understand it, go beyond it.
- J Krishnamurti
We are interested in self-reflection and self-discovery.  We meet every Sunday at 8am for 2 hours to do the following:
  1. To meditate :  We practice a mix of silent and guided meditations  to connect with a calm space within ourselves. We do not follow any particular religion or teacher.
  2. To discover ourselves: We share queries and discoveries to improve our understanding and acceptance of each other.
  3. To discuss concepts:  We explore ideas and tools that would help us and others in their journey of self-discovery.
In the Reflection Sessions, we help each other explore our observations, presumptions, projections and affections - thereby, coming closer to understanding ourselves.
These sessions are open to everyone, and is free-of-cost.

It would be wise if after a certain age, perhaps let us say forty or forty-five, or younger still, you retired from the world, before you are too old. What would happen if you did retire not merely to enjoy the fruit of sensate gatherings but retired in order to find yourself, in order to think feel profoundly, to meditate, to discover reality? …If such a group came into being then they could produce a new world, a new culture.

– J Krishnamurti

Testimonials

The collective silence has helped me find peace. Life is enriched not by what you have but how do you feel about what you have. Perspective is key there.

The highlight of these sessions in my opinion is the 20 minutes silent sitting where one is free to reflect on whatever possible is going on within and without.
