Bishal Lama studies in class four in Shanti Shikshya Mandir, Thaiti. According to his teacher and gift applicant Ms. Nima Rajbhandari, Bishal lives with his family in Dhokabahal. His father works as a laborer and his mother is a housewife. Bishal, though he is a good student, doesn’t go to school regularly due to extreme cold. His father being the only bread winner and with his seasonal income, he is not quite enough to fulfill even the family’s basic need. So seeing his poor economic condition and his determination to study his teacher asks to help buy him a sweater so that he can keep himself warm during the winters and go to school regularly.
