A student without a sweater faces not only Kathmandu's bitter winter, but also embarrassment in front of classmates. Sweaters Campaign channeled 100% of donation to those students.
How volunteers helped 164 students in government schools who were facing Kathmandu's bitter winter without sweaters?
  1. By the time, the campaign started, winter was already at its peak.  There was little time to prepare.
  2. There was no funding, no blue-print on how to proceed!
  • Closing Report presented by the Volunteers can be found here.
Closing Status on Feb 13th:
  • 164 received sweaters.
  • 104 people pledged Rs 68000.
  • Usage of this fund
