Free Health Camp at Kanya Mandir School

KG and the group of doctors from Taiwan organized a free health camp for the students of the government schools on 11th August, 2012 at Kanya Mandir School. The schools were selected from the Education Support Network of KG .The program was coordinated by Mrs. Puspha Gurung. 
The primary objective of the program was to  help those students receive health treatment who cannot afford it.
Along with the free health camp, KG also organized Door to Door Campain. 10 volunteers from K&K International College participated in the campaign. They informed the locals about the health camp and the opportunity for them to support this event. They collected the support in the forms of money(Rs.1,486)  and clothes. KG distributed the clothes to some students afterwards.
Through this program we reached 258 students and 30 other individuals. It was found that almost all of the students need education on personal hygiene. Other common health related problem found in the children were 1. throat infection, 2. Ear and Nose infection, 3. dental problems, 4. Skin infection, and 5. lice . 
KG is thankful towards all the individuals who directly and indirectly helped to make the event successful.
