Sophiya Khatun

Sophiya Khatun is a first grader studying in Sri Arunodhaya Ni. Ma. Vi (Dhoka Tol). As per her gift applicant and teacher Ms. Bimala Acharya, Sophiya is a diligent and hardworking student living with her father and four other family members. Her father owns a small business but it doesn’t make enough to support the family’s basic need. Sophiya loves to go to school but this harsh cold winter season without a sweater makes it a tough call.

On 1st February 2013, we received a picture of Sophiya Khatun wearing her new sweater, from Ms Bimala Acharya.

On 10th March 2013, Sushil K. Poudel pledged Rs. 1180 for Sophiya Khatun to buy new school uniform.
