Kiran Kumari Sunwar

Kiran Kumari Sunwar is a fourth grade student in Sri Tarani Vaidhyalaya (Makkhan). She and her two sisters live with their mother and father, who is the sole breadwinner. As a plumber, his wages are too meagre to support the family. And now, with the onset of winter, there is not enough money in the kitty to buy everyone a set of winter clothes. This means Kiran Kumari may be forced to remain at home instead of attending school to shelter from the cold weather. Her teachers would like us to pledge Rs.400 to buy her a sweater so she does not miss her classes at school.
