Kajal Kumari Gupta

Kajal Kumari Gupta is a 4th  grader student studying in Kanya Mandir Ma. Vi. She lives in Basantapur with her parents. Her father Dinesh Prasad Gupta sells clothes in a bicycle and her mother is a housewife. So, her family has a hard time managing the family's basic needs. So, her teacher applicant Ms. Sarala Pant wishes to see her with the school shoes and lunch when she comes to school.
( Mid-Day Meals for a session- Rs. 1750, Shoes- Rs. 625 and Uniform- Rs. 1500)

On 27th March 2013, Aashish Joshi pledged Rs. 625 for Kajal's shoes.
On 29th March 2013, Team Hybrid Team (Nirman Sunwar, Ameet KC, Sagar Kafle, Shivam Bhandari, Prazul Prasai, Nabin Basnet, Pragyan Guzral, Prunella Gurung, Samantha Shahi) pledged Rs. 1750 for Kajal's meals
On September 2013, Gaurav Agarwal has pledged to support for kajal's school uniform.

Smita Thapa Magar is 5th grader student studying in Kanya Mandir Ni. Ma. Vi.. She lives in Asan with her 5 family members. She is a capable student and who is very studious in her studies. Smita never miss her classes in any cost. She finds learning and getting knowledge is very interesting. But due to financial problem of  her family, she is not able to aspire her dreams. She has not been able to bring necessary books to school along with the stationery she is also not able to bring lunch to school as well. So, her teacher applicant Ms. Sarala Pant wishes to see her with lunch and books while coming to school.

Puja Rauniyar student of grade 4 studying in Kanya Mandir Ma. Vi. She lives in Dallu with her parents. Her father Sunil Kumar Rauniyar is a small business man who sells socks and inner wears. Her father's one leg doesn’t function but also with the help of crotches’ and her mother works in a small factory. With the less earning of their parents her needs are not being fulfilled. So her teacher applicant Sarala Pant wishes to see her in school shoes and lunch with her.

Sakshi Kumari Gupta is a 2nd grader student  studying in Shanti Shikshya Mandir. She is very frank and friendly student. She is obedient to her teachers. Her  father sells clothes  to earn a living and her mother is a housewife. As the only bread winner of the family, it is difficult for her father to handle seven members of her family. She is in need of a set of school uniform to attend classes. So, her teacher applicant Nima Rajbhandari  wishes to she could come to school in school uniform.

Her Father died due to HIV – Aids and her mother too is suffering from the same disease, Due to which she can’t work. There is no one in her family who earns. Chadani Kumari Gupta is a grade 3 student studying in Kanya Mandir. She lives in Dhobichaur with her 6 family members. Her father Dinesh Kumar Gupta sells clothes in bicycle and mother Kiran Devi Gupta works in tailor.Due to poor economical state it’s difficult for Chadani’s parents to aspire the needs of their children.  So, Chadani is not been able to bring lunch to school, bring books to study. Deepa Gautam is a 3rd grader student studying in Kanya Mandir. She lives in Dhalko with her 4 family members. Her mother Kamala Gautam works in hospital and her father is in prison. Due to poor economic background they are not been able to fulfill Deepa's needs. According to Deepa, they all are living in a small room. The earning of her mother is not sufficient for her family to aspire her family's needs. Meals for Rama Chaudhary: Seven years old girl from Dang, studying in Pragati Sikhshya Sadan (Kupondole) (profiles here) would suffer classroom hunger, if not for KG's mid-day meals program that has been running for the last 7 years. We provide meals 5 days of the school week.

Roshika Nepali studies in grade one in Sri Arunodhaya Ni. Ma. Vi (Dhoka Tol). According to her gift applicant and teacher Ms. Bimala Acharya Roshika lives with her father and other four family members. Her father is a tailor and does not seem to earn much as the work is seasonal. Roshika comes to school on regular basis and is also one the most helpful, disciplined and hardworking student in the school. Roshika comes to school regularly but her parents cannot afford to buy her proper school uniform and books. Seeing Roshika come to school regularly even withought and uniform or bag the teacher requests to support her by sponsoring to buy her school unform, shoes and a school bag.

Babi Khatun, a fourth grader studying in Sri Arunodhaya NI. Ma. Vi (Dhoka tol), is one of the most hardworking, diligent and disciplined students, says her gift applicant and teacher Urmiladevi Shrestha. Babi lives with her family in Naradevi. Her father runs a small business, which barely makes a profit. So, Babi’s parents are unable to buy her a proper set of school uniform. Her teachers fear if this continues, one day Babi may stop attending school because she is embarrassed. A full set of school uniform would be a real incentive for Babi, her tutors feel, and ask for our support.

Raj Lama studies in Grade one in Sri Arunodhaya Ni. Ma. Vi. (Dhoka Tol).  He lives with his family Dallu. His father works as a laborer and doesn’t earn much. As per his teacher and gift applicant Ms. Lalita Dongol Raj is a diligent, hardworking and caring student. He is always ready to  help others and is always regular to school. Even though he’s regular, due to his family’s weak economic condition he is not able to come to school in proper school uniform. His teacher fears that if this goes on he might not come to school because of the same reason.

Shiva Hari Siwakoti is a K.G student studying in Sri Ranidevi Ni. Ma. Vi (Ranibari). As per his teacher and gift applicant Ms. Shanti Pandey, Shiva lives with his mother and other siblings. His mother has to work hard in other people’s house as a maid because his father has remarried and doesn’t help with any of their educational, health or any need whatsoever. Shiva comes to school without a sweater even during the cold winter. Seeing his determination to study his teacher asks our help to support by him a pair of sweater.  (Sweater = Rs 500)

Amlesh Kumar is a fourth grader studying in Sri Bal Bikash Ni. Ma. Vi. As per his teacher and gift applicant Ms. Deepa Timalsina, Amlesh is a hard working and sincere student. Originally from Musafpur, India Amlesh and his family presently reside in Bhatbateni. Amlesh lives with his parents and a sister. His brother left due to the poor economic condition of his family. His parents work as laborers. Since their work is seasonal, the family doesn't have enough money to fulfill his needs. Amlesh goes to school despite of the problems at home. Amlesh goes to school with torn pants and sweaters. Seeing his wish to study and his  progressive academics his teacher asks to support by helping buy him a pair of sweater and a pair of pants.
(Sweater- Rs. 500 and Pants- Rs. 625)
