Divya Mahat is a student of Kanya Mandir School studying in grade 5. She is a bright student, and she eldest child of her family. Her sister Deepika MAhat studies in same school. Due to poor economical condition of her family, its difficult for her mother grow up three children in such condition. She works in a tailor. Manisha Khadka studies in grade 1 in Sri Ranidevi NI. Ma. Vi (Ranibari). As per her teacher and gift applicant Ms. Shanti Pandey, Manisha lives with her mother and brother. Manisha's mother works a laborer to take care of her children. Manisha's father is remarried and doesn't live with them. He doesn't help the family in any way. Manisha goes to school without a bag. When asked, her mother said that she doesn't have money to even buy her daughter a proper school bag and has to send her with her books inside a plastic bag. Manisha like another student wishes to go to school with a proper school bag and shoes

Chadani Sanjyal is a grade 5 student studying in Kanya Mandir School. She lives with her father and mother. Her mother has no work and her father sells carpet. Due to poor health of her father, he has stopped his work. He is suffering from Tuberculosis. Because of this, her family is suffering from financial crisis. She is in high need of meal, and thus her teacher applicant Ms Sarala Pant wishes if someone could help her.

Laxmi Shrestha is a 4th grader studying in Kanya Mandir Ma.Vi. She lives with her sister. Her parents lives in Dolakha. Her father Krishna Bahadur Shrestha works as a farmer and her mother is sick. She is a very intelligent student and she is very keen in her studies. When she asks for something, her sister feel hesitant to give her. Due to this reaction, she has left asking her sister for the things that she needs. So seeing her situation her teacher applicant Sarala Pant wants to see her with school shoes, socks, lunch and uniform while she comes to school.

On June 2013, Prashant Basnet pledged for Laxmi's mid-day meal for one session. Ms. Mina Neupane has identified 30 students who need stationery.
