Bishwojit Mahanti as per his teacher and gift applicant Ms Parvati Koirala is a 5 grader studying in Sri Tarani Pra. Vidhyalaya (Makkhan). He lives with his parents and a sister in an apartment in Tahayal. His father works as a plumber whereas his mother is a housewife. His father being a plumber doesn’t earn much as the work is occasional. With his mother and elder sister also to support, the money that they earn is not quite enough. Bishwajit is a hardworking and generous student but due to his family’s weak economic status his teacher requests to help him so that he can complete his education.

Anisha Nepali is a first grader studying in Kanya Mandir. As per her teacher and gift applicant Mr Sanjeev Dhakal, Anisha is good and hardworking student. Anisha is mainly in need of lunch. Anisha comes from a very poor economic background. Anisha doesn't come to school even with a proper lunch. Anisha has to depend upon her friends even for lunch. Seeing her condition her teacher asks our help to support her by providing a lunch session for her.

Very studious by nature, she is supportive and hard-working in school. Due to financial crunch, she goes to school with torn shoes and stockings even in harsh winter. Puja katuwal studies in grade four in Sri Arunodhaya Ni. Ma. Vi. (Dhoka Tol). As per her gift applicant and teacher Ms. Urmila Devi Shrestha, Puja lives with her father and 8 other family members. Her father works as a carpet seller. According to her techers, Puja is a dillegent, hard working and regular student. She comes to school regularly and has a patient nature. Having 9 family members to feed the monthly income of her father is not enough. Due to this, her parents aren't able to even buy her a set of uniform. As Puja is a good student her teacher requests to keep her motivated to come to school by sponsoring her school uniform.

A 12 years old girl with a beautiful smile and innocent eyes is Manakamana Shrestha. She studies in grade 3 in Pragati Siksha Sadan, Lalitpur. She is originally from Sindhupalchowk and currently living in Kupandole in a rented room. She lives with her parents and 3 siblings. 
Manakamana loves to read her course books after school. She is good at her studies. Her favorite subject is English. She aims to become a teacher in the future.  
Her favorite game is 'hide and seek'. After school she helps her family members in various activities like cleaning dishes, washing clothes. 
 Status- Manakamana currently receives mid-day meals through KG's Sajha Khaja program.

Roshan Mandal is a first grader studying in Sri Tarani Ni Ma. Vi. As per her teacher and gift applicant Ms. Sita Ghimire, Roshan stays with his parents in Maruhiti. Roshan lives with his parents and brother. His mother is a housewife and his father the only bread winner works as a street vendor. His father sells Chana Chatpat, a street food which doesn’t earn much. Since he has a wife and children to feed, the amount he earns isn’t quiet sufficient. Roshan requires a sweater to keep himself warm this winter,

She lives with her parents in Maruhiti. Her father has a low paying job in one of the private offices in the valley. According to her teacher Sunita is very well disciplined and friendly. She believes in the beauty of sharing and helps her friends and other students when in need. She is good in her studies but due to her family’s weak economic condition she has trouble coming to school on regular basic. The school committee has been supporting her examination fees. Sunita wants to keep on studying and wants our help to buy herself some books.

Lipi Mahanti is a fifth grader studying in Sri Tarani Pra. Vi. As per her teacher and gift applicant Ms Parbati Koirala, Lipi lives with her parents in Tahachal. Lipi’s mother is a housewife, whereas his father the only breadwinner works as a plumber. Being a plumber he doesn’t earn much. So, even with only three members to provide for her father’s income isn’t enough. Even in this cold and harsh winter she comes to school in a half shirt without any sweater. Lipi wishes to come to school in a pair of warm sweater.

Anju Giri is a fifth grader studying in Shanti Sikshya Mandir, Thahiti. As per her teacher and gift applicant Ms Nima Rajbhandari, Anju stays with her parents in Inabahal. Both her parents work as street vendors. Even though they both work hard they do not earn enough to fulfill the basic requirement of the family. Anju is a hard working and obedient student says her teacher. She is loved by her teachers as she is one of the well disciplined students of her class. Anju being a determined student doesn’t come to school regularly during the winter all because her parents can’t afford to buy her sweater. So, her teacher asks to fulfill her wish to go to school wearing a sweater and keep herself warm.

Shreeram Rai is a first grader studying in Shanti Shikshya Mandir, Thaiti. As per his teacher and gift applicant Ms. Nima Rajbhandari, Shreeram has been living with his grandmother ever since his father left him. According to his teacher, Shreeram is a hardworking and very determined towards his studies. Even though he is a good student he doesn’t come to school regularly. Its mainly because he doesn’t have even a pair of shoes to keep his feet warm this cold winter. His grandmother works hard to fulfill his needs but due to her old age she is not fully able to do so. So seeing his condition his teacher urges to help him by buying him a pair of shoes so that he can come to school regularly.

Samjhana Ghising, as per her teacher & gift-applicant Miss Shristi Pradhan, is a dedicated preschool student of Shanti Nikunja (Kankeshwori).  Her parents have 4 daughters, for whom they cannot provide adequate care. Her mother is  the only stable income earner as she works as a maid.  Her father has not managed to find work for a while.  Because of her weak economic condition,  Samjhana does not have adequate clothes to wear.  She wishes she could have clothes for all her siblings.

Sujan Parel  studies in class two in Tarani Primary School( Makkhan). He lives in Maruhiti with his parents and  two sisters. Due to impoverished condition in Ramechhap, they moved to the capital city for a better life. However, their financial condition is still very weak to afford even the basic needs. Diligent student Sujan is splendid in his studies. Despite this, he isn't able to go to school regularly because its winter and he doesn't have any warm clothes. Seeing this his teacher asks to support him so that he can come to school regularly and keep up with his studies.  Hence, seeing his wish to study Sujann requires a set of warm clothes so that he can come to school regularly even during the chilling winter.

Originally from Musafpur, India Amlesh and his family presently reside in Bhatbateni. Amlesh lives with his parents and a sister. His brother left due to the poor economic condition of his family. His parents work as laborers. Since their work is seasonal, the family doesn't have enough money to fulfill his needs. Amlesh goes to school despite of the problems at home. Amlesh goes to school with torn pants and sweaters. Seeing his wish to study and his  progressive academics his teacher asks to support by helping buy him a pair of sweater and a pair of pants.

Sushma Magar is a diligent student in Adarsha School, (Chabhil).  She is an only child. Her father left her and her mother to fend for themselves when Sushma was very young. Her mother works as a maid in multiple homes; she struggles to buy educational supplies for her daugher. Sushma herself often goes to help her mother complete her maid's chores.  She wishes to receive a gift of educational materials, so that she can spend more time doing her homework, and playing with her mother...instead of doing chores in people's houses.
