Bishwojit Mahanti as per his teacher and gift applicant Ms Parvati Koirala is a 5 grader studying in Sri Tarani Pra. Vidhyalaya (Makkhan). He lives with his parents and a sister in an apartment in Tahayal. His father works as a plumber whereas his mother is a housewife. His father being a plumber doesn’t earn much as the work is occasional. With his mother and elder sister also to support, the money that they earn is not quite enough. Bishwajit is a hardworking and generous student but due to his family’s weak economic status his teacher requests to help him so that he can complete his education.

Anisha Nepali is a first grader studying in Kanya Mandir. As per her teacher and gift applicant Mr Sanjeev Dhakal, Anisha is good and hardworking student. Anisha is mainly in need of lunch. Anisha comes from a very poor economic background. Anisha doesn't come to school even with a proper lunch. Anisha has to depend upon her friends even for lunch. Seeing her condition her teacher asks our help to support her by providing a lunch session for her.

Roshan Mandal is a first grader studying in Sri Tarani Ni Ma. Vi. As per her teacher and gift applicant Ms. Sita Ghimire, Roshan stays with his parents in Maruhiti. Roshan lives with his parents and brother. His mother is a housewife and his father the only bread winner works as a street vendor. His father sells Chana Chatpat, a street food which doesn’t earn much. Since he has a wife and children to feed, the amount he earns isn’t quiet sufficient. Roshan requires a sweater to keep himself warm this winter,

Shreeram Rai is a first grader studying in Shanti Shikshya Mandir, Thaiti. As per his teacher and gift applicant Ms. Nima Rajbhandari, Shreeram has been living with his grandmother ever since his father left him. According to his teacher, Shreeram is a hardworking and very determined towards his studies. Even though he is a good student he doesn’t come to school regularly. Its mainly because he doesn’t have even a pair of shoes to keep his feet warm this cold winter. His grandmother works hard to fulfill his needs but due to her old age she is not fully able to do so. So seeing his condition his teacher urges to help him by buying him a pair of shoes so that he can come to school regularly. (School Shoes- Rs 700) Abhinav Man Singh Shrestha pledged to support Shreeram by buying him a pair of shoes on 14th December, 2012.
Samjhana Ghising, as per her teacher & gift-applicant Miss Shristi Pradhan, is a dedicated preschool student of Shanti Nikunja (Kankeshwori). Her parents have 4 daughters, for whom they cannot provide adequate care. Her mother is the only stable income earner as she works as a maid. Her father has not managed to find work for a while. Because of her weak economic condition, Samjhana does not have adequate clothes to wear. She wishes she could have clothes for all her siblings. Samjhana Sunwar is a hardworking student from Tarani School who studies in grade 1. She lives with her 6 family members in Makhan Tole. Her father works in others shop as a tailor and her mother is a housewife. In winter they cannot afford to buy sweater for their daughter according to her mother. So her teacher wishes she could wear sweater in this cold winter.
