Kiran Majhi , a student studying in Sri Arunodhaya Ni. Ma. Vi, is one of the most disciplined student says his teacher and gift applicant Ms. Anju Subedi. Kiran came to Kathmandu in search of work with his father. He along with his parents and sister stayed in a room. One unfortunate day his sister was raped and killed by the house owner’s son. After that incident his mother was never the same. His father is engaged in small labor works. He along with his mother, a month old sister and father stay in a small apartment in Kathmandu. Since his mother is never the same after his sister’s tragic incident, Kiran sometimes doesn’t come to school as he has to stay home to look after his sister. Having no proper source of income it’s difficult for them to fulfill even their daily necessities let alone the school fees. As of now Kiran is in need of a school uniform and a school bag.
