Stationery is the most important aspect in student's life says Ms. Deepa Dahal. With 4 rooms, Tarini school conducts sessions of class 1 to 5. Two classes are conducted in the same room, and due to lack of stationery supplies, most of the students rewrite on the same copy or comes to school without any homework.Ms. Deepa Dahal has identified 13 students who need stationery.
(Stationery per student- Rs. 700 per year) On 26th April 2013, BMI Machine Volunteers raised help for all 13 students( Abhishek Kumar Ram, Ranu Mandal, Mohmmad Afjan Sheikh, Sarita Khatri, Sujan Parel, Sakina Khatun, Kajal Kumari Shah, Ravi Kumar Chaudhuari, Saroj Shah, Sarmila Karki, Bimala Parel, Ranjana Kumari Shah, Kiran Kumari Shah) Rabin Bhandari is a grade 6 student of Shree Arunodaya Ni. ma. Vi. He is a weak student and have repetitively failed. One of the major reason is his family background. His step mother doesn’t take good care of him. Even basic educational necessities like copy, books, dress and shoes is not in reach. His father works as a plumber and her mother works as a clothes washer. Both their income is insufficient to fulfill the educational needs of Rabin. Even though he is not that good in studies, however her teacher applicant Ms. Anju Subedi comments that he is very sharp in other extra curricular activities. Sometimes when he comes to school, he covers up his studies with the help of his friends. His teacher wants him to get motivated from the gift he receives.

Teaching has become an important part in her life. She has always dreamt of providing service to her society and country and teaching has made it easier to live her dream. She has been teaching for over 15 years in the school. Her school is in Naxal, Kathmandu, but she lives in Kaushaltar, Bhaktapur, about 1 hour bus journey. In addition to her teaching job and her dedication to it, she is also a mother of 2 children, is currently doing M.Phil from Tribhuvan University and teaching at a campus in the morning hours. She is a bright student and always has a smile in her face. She lives with her father and mother. She cannot afford to pay school fees. Her mother is ill and has problems in her stomach. Her father works as a labour. With the earnings of her father, she is unable to pay her fees on time due to this she is planning to leave her studies. So, seeing this, her teacher applicant wishes she would continue coming to school.

So, the only earnings of his father is insufficient to fulfill the needs of all the members. So, her teacher applicant Ms. Bimala Acharya wishes his student could receive uniform and bag.

Teacher Nima Rajbhandari’s face always glows with satisfaction who has been teaching passionately at Shanti Siksha Sadan since the last 12 years. The students she has been teaching are from the families who are from a very low income bracket or are almost at a point of destitution. Their parents are street vendors, rickshaw drivers, maids and daily wage labors. It makes it worse when they cannot even afford a square meal despite working day and night. For them, meal is the first priority and it should be! Children's education comes later. She had been helping the students without stationary by providing it herself. But even in this scenario, they have been sending their children to the school and teacher Nima appreciates it. His father lives separately and his mother washes dishes in others house. Her mother has to earn for him and his sister to live in .He goes to school with torn shirt and pant. He wears slipper and brings his books in a plastic bag. So his teacher applicant, Rukmini Humagain, wants him to wear a proper uniform and bag which will help him in his future studies.

Her father is the only bread winner and works a ‘Chatpate’ seller. Mamta belongs to a big family and her father being the only bread winner, it is very difficult to fulfill even their basic needs. Mamata’s parents aren’t able to even provide for her school necessities. Seeing her poor economic condition her teacher request to help buy her a pair of school shoes.

Bikesh Rai is a class 5 student from Shree Arunodaya Ni. Ma. Vi. He lives with his father and mother. His father has no job but her mother is a labourer of a factory. His father is a drunkard. As his mother is the only breadwinner of her family, it is very difficult for her to maintain their economic condition. So, her teacher applicant Ms. Sujata Shrestha wishes he could come in a proper shoes, as he cannot afford to wear one.

Chadani Sanjyal is a grade 5 student studying in Kanya Mandir School. She lives with her father and mother. Her mother has no work and her father sells carpet. Due to poor health of her father, he has stopped his work. He is suffering from Tuberculosis. Because of this, her family is suffering from financial crisis. She is in high need of meal, and thus her teacher applicant Ms Sarala Pant wishes if someone could help her.

Smita never miss her classes in any cost. She finds learning and getting knowledge is very interesting. But due to financial problem of her family, she is not able to aspire her dreams. She has not been able to bring necessary books to school along with the stationery she is also not able to bring lunch to school as well. So, her teacher applicant Ms. Sarala Pant wishes to see her with lunch and books while coming to school. On July 2013, Sajal Khadka has pledged to support for her books Puja Rauniyar student of grade 4 studying in Kanya Mandir Ma. Vi. She lives in Dallu with her parents. Her father Sunil Kumar Rauniyar is a small business man who sells socks and inner wears. Her father's one leg doesn’t function but also with the help of crotches’ and her mother works in a small factory. With the less earning of their parents her needs are not being fulfilled. So her teacher applicant Sarala Pant wishes to see her in school shoes and lunch with her.
