Chadani Kumari Gupta is a grade 3 student studying in Kanya Mandir. She lives in Dhobichaur with her 6 family members. Her father Dinesh Kumar Gupta sells clothes in bicycle and mother Kiran Devi Gupta works in tailor.Due to poor economical state it’s difficult for Chadani’s parents to aspire the needs of their children.  So, Chadani is not been able to bring lunch to school, bring books to study. So her teacher applicant sarala pant wishes to see her with the mid-day meal and required course books while coming to school.

Deepa Gautam is a 3rd grader student studying in Kanya Mandir. She lives in Dhalko with her 4 family members. Her mother Kamala Gautam works in hospital and her father is in prison. Due to poor economic background they are not been able to fulfill Deepa's needs. According to Deepa, they all are living in a small room. The earning of her mother is not sufficient for her family to aspire her family's needs. So her teacher applicant Ms. Sarala Pant wishes to see her with her books and lunch while she comes to school.

Rabi Kumar Chaudhary is a third grader studying in Sri Tarani Ni.Ma. Vi (Makhan). As per her teacher and gift applicant Ms. Deepa Dahal, Ravi is youngest child of his family. He lives in Kalimati with his family. His parents work hard to fulfill their child’s needs. His father sells candles whereas his mother packs masalas for daily income. Even though they work day in and out their income is still not enough to fulfill the needs of 5 children. Ravi comes to school in slippers even on cold winter. So, his teacher wishes him to see in new pair of shoes and socks.

Rabina Thakur is a first grader studying in Sri Tarani NI. Ma. Vi. (Makkhan).  As per her teacher and gift applicant Ms. Deepa Dahal, Rabina’s family originally came from Rautahat and are currently residing in Hanuman Dhoka. Her father works as a hairdresser in a saloon.  Her mother is sick and isn’t able to contribute to the family’s economic condition. Rabina is keen towards her studies and comes to school regularly despite all of her troubles at home. Due to her family’s poor economic condition her parents aren’t able to fulfill even her educational need. Rabina wishes to come to school with a proper set of sweater, shoes and socks.

8 year old Aashmin Khatun is a 3rd grader student in Shanti Sikshya Mandir. She lives in Khusibu with her family. Her father works as a tailor and her mother a housewife. His father’s income is not sufficient to earn her basic need. Her family's condition is not supportive for her studies. Sabin Lives in Hadigaun with his parents and other five family members.  His mother works as maid and his father is suffering from Diabetes due to which his father is not been able to work. Srijana Lama is a student of grade 5 studying in Shree Adharsha Ni.Ma.Vi.  She lives in Malligaun with his father and five family members. Her father Kancha Lama works as a labour. Shrijana is a hardworking and intelligent student. Her mother also uses to work but from Dashain she could not go to work because her mother had to look after her sick brother whose leg has been cut off and had to put an artificial leg. Due to this incident, her parents economic condition is being very poor because most of their earnings goes to her brother's treatment. Shankar Karki student of Nepal Nimukha Bal Sanstha studying in grade1. Shankar lives in Dhapasi with his father Tula Karki and aunt Anjana.  He is an orphan. There is a saying that if Childs father is died he is not orphan but if Childs mother is died he is called orphan. Shankar is a good student but he has poor eyesight. He lives with his aunt and her family. Because of large family of his aunt she could not fulfill shankars needs for school. Rabin Kumal is student of grade 1 studying in Nepal Nimukha Bal Sanstha. Rabin lives in Basundhara with his parents. His father Dhan Bahadur Kumal works as a carpenter and mother Ramkumari Kumal is a housewife.  He is the youngest child of his parents. He used to study in village. He came to Kathmandu because he was sick and later his parents got to know that his son is suffering from blood cancer. His parents cannot afford for his education. Nabin Giri  is a student of grade 1 studying in Nepal Nimukha Bal Sanstha. He lives with his mother in Basundhara, Sukumbashi and his mother Goma Giri works as a house maid.  His father has expired and his elder brother and younger sister live with their maternal uncle in village. Nabin fell off in the well and from then he cannot move his hand properly and also cannot talk properly.  With the earning of his mother, it’s not enough for their education and their living. He lives in Bangemuda with 4 family members.  His father Bidur Timilsina works as a labour whereas mother Radhika is a housewife. Srijana Ghising is a class 2 student in Shanti Nikunj Ma. Vi. She lives with her parents in Kankeshwori. She is very hardworking and obedient student as per her teacher applicant Mr. Dinesh Maharjan. She has received stationery from KG. The only breadwinner of the family, Srijana's mother works as a labourer. Due to less income, it is very difficult for the family to sustain their living. She is unable to wear uniform, sweater, stockings and shoes in this cold winter.

Rabika Khadgi is a third garder studying in Shanti Shikshya Mandir. As per her teacher and gift applicant Ms. Nima Rajbhadari, Rabika is one of the brightest students of her class. She is also a very hard-working and persevering student. She lives with her parents and other four family members in Ason. Her mother works seasonally as strawberry seller and her father is a laborer. Though both her parents work hard to fulfill their family's needs their combined wages is not enough for her 5-member family to live on. Rabika likes to come to school but due to her family's incapability she isnt able to come as she has no proper set of school shoes.  At present, she is in need of a pair of shoes to attend her classes.

Sarita Dhungel is a beautiful and an ever smiling girl. It is amazing to see an eleven years old girl with such sincerity and yearning to become a teacher. But to fulfill her aspiration, her mother will have to work hard to ensure things are in the right track. Sarita came to Kathmandu with her parents from Okhaldhunga but her parents separated three years back. Currently, Sarita is living with her mother and an elder sister in a rented room in Lalitpur. 

Sarita and her sister study in Pragati Siksha Sadan in Lalitpur. Sarita is in grade three and her sister in grade six. Her mother works days and nights to ensure her daughters’ education. As a tribute to her mother's hard work, Sarita is doing great in school. She is in need of mid-day meals.

Shy yet energetic Seema Magar is a grade 2 student of Pragati Siksha Sadan, Lalitpur.  She is 12 years old. She is originally from Biratnagar and is living with her maternal uncle in Kupondole. There are 5 members in her uncle's family and they rent two rooms to share. 

After school she helps her uncle and auntie in fetching water, cleaning dishes and in other household chores. She is in need of mid day meals as she cannot afford to bring lunch to school.

Roshika Nepali studies in grade one in Sri Arunodhaya Ni. Ma. Vi (Dhoka Tol). According to her gift applicant and teacher Ms. Bimala Acharya Roshika lives with her father and other four family members. Her father is a tailor and does not seem to earn much as the work is seasonal. Roshika comes to school on regular basis and is also one the most helpful, disciplined and hardworking student in the school. Roshika comes to school regularly but her parents cannot afford to buy her proper school uniform and books. Seeing Roshika come to school regularly even withought and uniform or bag the teacher requests to support her by sponsoring to buy her school unform, shoes and a school bag.

Babi Khatun, a fourth grader studying in Sri Arunodhaya NI. Ma. Vi (Dhoka tol), is one of the most hardworking, diligent and disciplined students, says her gift applicant and teacher Urmiladevi Shrestha. Babi lives with her family in Naradevi. Her father runs a small business, which barely makes a profit. So, Babi’s parents are unable to buy her a proper set of school uniform. Her teachers fear if this continues, one day Babi may stop attending school because she is embarrassed. A full set of school uniform would be a real incentive for Babi, her tutors feel, and ask for our support.

As per his gift applicant and teacher Ms. Bimala Adhikari, Babin is one of the most diligent and hardworking student in the school.  He’s father who is the only bread winner of the family works a painter. As a painter he doesn’t earn much . As there is only one person who works it has been difficult for his parents to fulfill the needs of the family members. Likewise they haven’t been able to buy their even a set of proper uniform to go to school. Even though that is a problem he is still regular at school.

Sushila Magar who lives in Naradevi, studies in grade One in Sri Arunodhaya Ni. Ma. VI. (Dhoka Tol). As per her gift applicant and teacher Ms. Bimala Acharya she lives with her father and other six family members. Her father works as a construction worker.  Sushila is always regular at school and is one of the most hard working and diligent student. Her father being the only bread winner doesn’t earn enough to provide the family of six with all the basic needs. Though being a regular student, Sushila doesn’t go to school with proper set of school sweater as her parents can’t afford to. Seeing her determination to study her teacher requests to support her .

Deepak Shahi is a fourth grader studying in Sri Arunodhaya Lower Secondary School, Dhioka Tol, Kathmandu. He lives with his family in Naradevi. There are 7 members in his family. His father is a small business owner. According to his gift applicant and teacher Ms. Urmiladevi Shrestha, Deepak is a well disciplined, friendly and hardworking student. He is always eager to learn and comes to school with all his homework and class work done. But Deepak does not have a proper school uniform. Deepak like any other student  wishes to come to school in proper set of school uniform.

Manisha Lama for Meals!

Manisha Lama is a first grader grader studying in Kanya Mandir , the first girls school in Nepal. as per her teacher and gift applicant, Ms. Sarala Pant, Manisha is one of the dillegent, hardworking and well discplined student of the school. She lives with her mother who works as house maid. Her mother is not quiet enough to support the family. According to her teacher Manisha comes to school with torn shoes and no lunch at all. Even though she has no proper shoes and no lunch she still comes to school on a regular basis. So, in order to keep Manisha motivated her teacher requests to support her by helping buy her a pair of school shoes and sponsoring a meal session.
(Meal for a session = Rs 1,750)
Status- Siddhartha Maharjan pledged Rs. 625 to support Manisha by buying her a pair of shoes.
